Tribeca rugs read differently than the rest of Manhattan. The lofts here run long and open, the ceilings sit high, and the collections we collect tend to swing between two poles: modern designer-curated pieces commissioned to anchor a wide room, and antique Persians or oriental silks brought in to soften the architecture. Many of the rugs we pick up here are oversized — twelve, fourteen, sixteen feet on a long edge.
Every rug we collect from a Tribeca address is wrapped at the door of the loft, walked through the elevator or stair, and driven directly to our Westchester headquarters in our own truck. There it is inspected, dye-tested, and hand-washed on the dedicated cleaning floor by our master artisans. Never machine-cleaned. Never sent off-site. The wide-open Tribeca floor plates make the rug the room — they deserve a wash that respects that.
